I like to start each workday with a smoothie or fresh squeezed juice. It gives me that extra boost of energy and guarantees that I get my fruits and vegetables in for the day.
One morning I had this gorgeous Granny Smith apple just sitting near my blender all alone. I cored and sliced the poor Granny. I blended her with a little lime juice, an orange, frozen mango, almond milk, and spinach. And Granny Greens was born!
