Pisa: Pisa is a college town. Out of its 100,000 inhabitants, there are 60,000 students. Its most famous for it’s leaning tower, but there are many buildings with architectural interest. We stopped here on our way to Florence.  We were only here for a couple of hours to get the iconic picture of the tower so I can’t say much about this city other than it seemed pretty safe, but very crowded.

The city’s most famous sites are on the Piazza dei Miracoli or Field of Miracles

Here it is. I didn’t want to get germs so I only held it with one finger…hehehe!

Took the picture, hopped back on the train and headed to Florence.
